  I was very disappointed with this hotel! The pictures make it look a lot nicer than it actually is. Loud music from a nearby bar . Our room was above the pool. I paid extra for the beach view and could barely see it from our balcony. Had to lean over the balcony and turn head sideways to see the ocean. Door opens to the outside which did not feel safe. I did not have hot water in the morning and ended up taking a cold shower. I complained at the desk and they said I probably didn't turn the handle far enough. I asked for a refund for the upcoming evening because we didn't want to stay 2 nights. I was denied my refund but left anyways!

  You may be thinking "La Quinta.. really?" I was concerned as well.... but let me tell you... this was one of the best hotel stays. The hotel was clean and modern. The room was very spacious and the bed was excellent!!! We had a room facing the ocean. We could sit on the sofa in the room and watch the waves, pier and surfers. My husband and I stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed ourselves.

  We stayed here for 2 nights on a trip to just relax after a hetic schedule. It was the perfect place. Great beds, great views of the ocean, good breakfast, nice pool, beach access. Close to great resturants and grocery store. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Wished we could have stayed longer. They gladly gave us a late checkout which really helped us to extend our mini vacation.
